16% of Businesses Surcharge

84% are worried about rising costs

100% want to keep their profit margins

From 01/10/2026 you can no longer pass on the eftPOS cost of acceptance as a surcharge

Are your POS & eftPOS up for the challenge ?

"On October 1st, I am losing thousands of dollars in surcharge revenue and have to absorb all card fees myself."

You don't have to take a hit to your bottom line.

You don't have to spend hours updating your prices.

Our Australian YumaPOS servers process tens of millions of dollars in sales.

90% of which is paid using eftPOS.

This makes the calculation to maintain your bottom line relatively easy ...

current price + current surcharge % = new price

Yes, this is an average and a bit of a fudge, but it is based on thousands of transactions from multiple business types from all over Australia.

#1 Update your POS

While I can't talk about older, legacy POS systems, YumaPOS makes this very quick and easy to do :

Click (Create a new price list)

Click (Select All)

Click (Markup by %)

On 01/10/2026 you tell the system to use the new pricelist.

Your POS is updated ! So are your Waiter APPs, Delivery Driver APPs, integrated eSHOP, web site ....

It is that easy !

#2 Update your eftPOS

I don't know how other providers will be doing this, but YumaPAY will do this for you. All you need to do is remove any signage about surcharges.

YumaPOS recognises that every business is different and we thrive on the challenges you make for us.

When you are ready to power charge your business with  an "Enterprise Point of Sale", we are ready to show you why our customers rave about YumaPOS products and  support .
