YumaPOS STORES : Add New STORE

General Info

Name : To be used to identify your STORE and print on receipts, integrations and marketing materials.

Business Type : Select the one that is most appropriate to your model.

Legal Entity : this will usually be the same as your registered ABN. Again, note that you have full multi-store capabilities, so you may have multiple LEGAL ENTITIES.

Business Day Start : This is NOT when you open your STORE! If you do not trade past midnight, leave it alone. If you trade past midnight , set it to 6am. This way your reporting will all be in the same “day range”. Setting this time influences :

  • When reports are generated, including POS terminal reports
  • Employee shifts will be calculated within one business day
  • Automatic finishing of the POS shift will occur at this time
  • Stop lists will reset at this time

Price List : The default to use is called Base Price List. This can be overridden using this field to change the default PRICE LIST that this STORE will use.

Tags : Are a way to assign preset labels to a STORE, ITEM, etc. You can then use these TAGS as CRITERIA to construct PROMOTIONAL CAMPAIGNS, DISCOUNTS & MARKUPS, MEDIA BROADCASTS, PROMOTIONAL CODES, etc

Contact Info

This may be printed on Tax Invoices or included on integrated Apps ( eg eSHOP, Web & Mobile ) and may be used to self-generate Online Terms & Conditions.

The rule is, don’t put your personal details here unless you really are the contact point.

Auto Closing Online Orders

By default, an ORDER will not CLOSE unless the CASHIER makes it CLOSED or the POS has been told to “Close ORDER when paid”.

Depending on your business model, you may prefer to have YumaPOS do this CLOSE for you.

Active : Toggle this on or off.

Employee : Select an existing Employee or create a fake one.

Terminal : Select which active POS these actions will be recorded against.

Auto Close Delay : Specify this in seconds. Don’t make it too short, but also don’t make it so long that the ORDER closes in the next BUSINESS DAY.

Availability

These settings are used to control how and when your customers can place orders using one of the YumaPOS integrated online methods.

Active : Toggle this on or off.

Mobile & Web : You will usually want this to be on if Active is on.

Store Opening Times : A rather broad set of opening and closing times. Finer detail is set under the next heading. Not needed if you have no intention of using any online services.
